Unless you live in a society where this is normal or you live in a consensual D/s marriage or partnership, marriage in modern time does not include two equal human beings punishing each other for disobedience. If that's not what you signed up for, then its abusive and the abuser needs counseling and treatment and the abused needs to get themselves out and into a safe environment.

I don't think a woman should ever be punished by anyone, especially their husband. If a man feels the need to be rough with his wife, then he is a gutless piece of crap, feeling tough intimidating a woman. Tell him to go down to the local pub and push a bloke around and see how tough he is. Men that abuse their wives, or any woman for that matter need to be straightened out the good old fashioned way, with a good old hiding.

Angel, this isn't the 1500's or the middle east, they are both pretty much the same...lol Take off the burka, and join the human race. You are not property, your a person. My wife pisses me off all the time, and I do the same to her. We get over it and move on. Sometimes I am right..... well... maybe once in 30 years, but I have been right. Other times she is right...... in fact she is always right.... hmmmmm. Marriage is working things out and no one punishing the other..... hmmmm is withholding..... considered punishment? lol lol ok ok I have been punished.

Do you think women have a right to punish their husbands if they are disobedient to them?
This is the year 2007 not 1807 or 1907 no one has the right to put their hands on you especial your husband.

Men have zero rights to punish women, the same applies to women attempting to punish men. That is nothing but abuse. Cut and dry

Absolutely not. You have rights. You are to be obedient to yourself only. If anyone expects otherwise, leave them. Respect yourself, and if you can't yet, get help. There are plenty of groups out there for people who have felt like you and who have moved forward to build up a decent life of self respect.

Domestic violence should never be allowed in a marriage...concerning EITHER party. When two people enter into a marital bond, neither parties become "possessions " of the other. In short...HE*L NO.
