Dear, you don't explain your point so not sure why you post this statement. But FYI, I used to work in a Greek hospital years ago, as I stated in your other question and even though the hospital was in need of renovations and the doctors and nurses were overworked and underpaid, things were good for the patients as they received the care they needed and free as Greek citizens or emergency care as foreign citizens!!
Can many developed countries do the same?

They are not screwed. Hospitals may look like they are a mess, and they are, like the entire public sector, but at the end of the day they work. The doctors are very good.

well, it's true that our hospitals are awful but not as much as you describe...if you only have the flu you're totaly OK, lol...
