We have 2 dogs and 3 cats and cannot find a house to rent or even a caravan park to live in because of our animals.
We earn good money but every where we go no landlord wants to know when we tell them about our pets.
We are now desperate as we end our tenancy on Dec 16th.

Don't give up your pets. Try listing an ad in the local paper, put up flyers, and call around. Have you tried some of the local trailor parks. Some of them allow small inside animals.

We are down to 2 dogs and i cat we own our current house
But in past experience Can appreciate where you are coming from
Apart from finding a landlord who will accept pets only thing I can think of is to offer an extra amount of bond to cover perceived damage your pet may or may not cause
Having pets in a house I own I have not had any damage caused to the house. They could chew furniture, but thats yours, they could dig in garden/lawn, but that is easily fixed/replaced
Or you could agree to repair any damage caused by pets, but a full inspection would have to be done to check for any existing damage/faults and an agreement signed re this
Good luck

Hey...y not BUY a house instead of renting! When I bought my 1st house i ended up with a mortgage note cheaper than my rent!!!!!!!!!!!! Then u can have as many pets as u can stand...plus have something under ur belt at the end of the year verses nothing when u r renting.

When it gets to that point, it's time to consider ridding yourself of the animals, as difficult as that may sound. People who are in the position of renting are advised to NOT obtain multiple pets until they can own their own homes.

I have pets myself, and I am a landlord. I fully understand both sides of your dilemma. Sad to say, pets in rentals can cause a lot of damage, and I don't allow them either with rare exception.
