Do you think it is better being a child or adult and why?

If we can maintain that child-like innocence with all the intelligence still at its peak, it is better than the best !
Great masters, saints, evolved spiritual beings enjoy that "being a child" all the time!(Just that a child is unaware of its innocence even!)

It's definitely better being an adult!!! I really feel sorry for children who have parents or other adults who abuse them, and they can do nothing about it....just survive year after year waiting until they can move out....(if they make it that far).

I guess the worse thing also about being a child from a horrible home is looking at other children who have loving parents and come from happy, intact families....not having a care in the world.

Adults have more power physically and mentally to control their own lives.

It's different for each individual. Some people like the freedom of childhood, some people like the respect and independence of being an adult.
When I was a child I wanted to grow up as fast as I possibly could, and I don't think I'd like being a kid again. My boyfriend, however, loved his childhood and still wants to hold on to that.
I think it depends on childhood events and such. I always felt older than I actually was, but never respected as such.

as a child you have freedom of time but no autonomy as an adult you have autonomy but no freedom time, the grass im afraid is always greener.
