What would you have in you pockets, purse, and/or bag that would be useful? Only things that you would have with you by accident!
(and no cellphone reception!)

Interesting! I would have my passport in case I walk too far and cross the borders but I don't realize it cos the cave is dark lol

Let's assume I am carrying the two bags I usually carry with me, a diaper bad and my purse (which also contains Mary Kay samples)....
Mini first aid kit - I always have one with me, I'm sure I'm getting bumps and bruises in a dark cave
3'x3' receiving blanket - I always have one to ensure I'm covered if I'm breastfeeding in public, blankets of any size are a help in dark caves, I'm assuming its cold.
A snack and a bottle of water - I rarely leave home without
Pocket light - I keep one on my key chain, the cave is dark, need I say more?
Wipes - keep my hands and other parts clean, I'm sure I'll have to tinkle at some point
Lip stick samples - try to make a marker system to know where I've been, for myself and people trying to find me
Lots of receipts - kindling
A lighter - I don't smoke, but my smoker partner often shoves things in my purse, so its likely
A diaper - I've been caving a number of times, yes, I would attach a diaper to my head rather than risk cracking my completely bare skull on a rock I don't see
Sunglasses - its already dark, but I'd rather wear them and help protect my face from any rock I don't see
That's all I can think that I usually have with me that might be helpful.

first of all, i'd be carrying my cave pack, not my purse..
and in it would be an extra headlamp, extra batteries for at least 3 times the amount of my expected trip duration, matches, candle, plastic bag, lunch, several energy bars, a couple of Gu energy gels, water, webbing, carabiner, pee bottle, toilet paper, first aid kit, ibuprofen, cave map, extra polypro shirt and markers to leave so i wouldn't get lost in the first place!!!

I always carry a bottle of water and crackers & jelly beans so I wouldn't starve.
I have my mobile (not for reception) It has a built in torch.
Hopefully I will be found or find my way out before my supplies run out.

a tooth brush and floss
a hairbrush
a little keychain light
an ipod
soda
hairspray
and some makeup
a mirror
i carry big purses so i would have alot

I have a diaper, wipes, and a snack in my purse all the time. I guess that would help.
