how long do you usually take to return a friend's phone call?

within the same day they call me. I try to call back asap but sometimes I'm too busy when I get the call back.

depends completely.
-what do they want?
-is it important?
If they want to know if I can go somewhere or want to go somewhere with them and I do, then asap.
if its to borrow money, probably a day or so.
but a majority of the time usually its within a few hours.
but if i don't really like the friend, i just won't call back.

i probably wouldn't return the call. unless they dropped a voicemail (i really should cancel the subscription since no1 leaves me anything) or a text message. or if their calls are insistent. then i know it's urgent. otherwise, i'd just shrug it off.

i'm not an important person to anyone, really, so what could be so urgent if they just left me one missed call and no trail of messages?

and my cell phone has always been in discreet mode.

I just wait for them to call me back. I'm horrible at answering and returning phone calls. I also never check my voicemail until one of my friends tells me I can't receive anymore messages.
