Um if white clothes are in the washer hot or cold water?

i do hot, and right before the spin cycle, stop the washer..put in a cup of bleach, for 10 min. restart.. and a little extra softener, in the rinse cycle.........perfect,

darks are sopose to be in cold and white is hot....trust me
