I really liked this cream/beige dress with tan embellishments sewn into it for my wedding, but it was too expensive so I bought the white one I liked...It really depends on your style and personal taste. My cousin's wife wore a yellow prom dress and I was a little confused by it until I saw the wedding where all the bride's maids were kids dressed as cute little fairies. She had an autumn wedding and it worked out perfectly.

It can be any color you like nowadays. A traditional white wedding dress is just that... traditional. Find a color that you like, that looks good with your skin tone and would compliment the other colors chosen for the rest of your wedding party.

i want a light or baby blue dress.i think it would be awesome.but i have been told first wedding no matter if your not a virgen you can still wear white.but i kinda still think that is the color only a virgen should wear, but in this day and age anyone can wear any color they want to their wedding.its YOUR special day dont let anyone tell you want you can do at your wedding.

or if you just dont want white red is becoming popular as is blue.i wouldnt do beige, purple or off white.
if its in spring go with lavendar, green ,or light pink.and theme with spring.
winter white , blue
fall red but not orange unless you find like a really good dress in a really good orange.
summer i think any color would do.
but whatever you like go for it.its YOUR day.

*edit*
i like what Gwen Stefani did that looks cool.

What a staggering "some thing borrowed" you need to your wedding ceremony day. sounds like a dazzling gown. Now to your colorations. Combining the pinky gown colour with fall trend colorations, i might say rose or a darker coloration of pink might seem superb consisting of your perfect gown. Have a superb wedding ceremony, and please supply a astounding thank you and super moist kiss to your beautiful aunt (by using marriage).

Anything but white or off-white is tacky and symbolizes things that are not appropriate for this event. White symbolizes purity and viginity. If this is a second marriage or a marriage after a very long relationship, off-white is best.

I say it's your wedding go with whatever you want. People will expect you to stay within the white family, but anything will look good. I think it looks nice to go with a really light shade of pink or blue that at first glance looks like white.
