so i've been on loestrin for about 5 months now and never had any spotting or anything.. in fact i've been very happy with this pill.. however just this past week i had some spotting that was pretty heavy and it lasted for about 5 days. i'm in the middle of my pack and have never had this happen before with this medication. i was wondering if this was normal, what caused it and if there might be a possibility that i am pregnant? i haven't missed any pills so i'm really not sure what's going on. help?

Being stressed about something whether good or bad can cause spotting to occur but I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
