We know he can coach but can he still recruit. It's been a long time. He has coached at Texas A&M before as the O-line coach. He is also the one who recruited Leeland McElroy, who was a great RB at A&M. I think this was a great move by A&M.

I don't think he is the wrong hire anywhere. If anything, I feel as though he were the wrong fire for Green Bay, despite the success their new coach is overseeing. He is a brilliant guy with a lot of success in the NFL, and I think he will make the Aggies a dangerous team in their conference given two years. You know that just by filling the position alone, his name will generate a big boost for recruiting, because he has a sound pedigree. Great move by the Aggies.

He'll have them 10-2,9-3 consistently before to long. If he stays long enough,(5 years) he might even make a run at a national championship.

if he can recruit he is. i don't know though, he's been out of the recruiting game a looooong time. i would have gone with a younger more energetic, "hot shot", but we will see. i would have even called south carolina and the ol' ball coach, steve spurrier.
i just want the aggs to quit beating my horns, dangit!
