What I mean is, well socially, for example, is there a chance some ex pats could accept us as friends? And some Muslims too? (hubby is Muslim.) Also, I'm not religious any more and I'm not about to advertise that there but is it hard to meet like minded people who are spiritual and not religious?

Yes we
ARE friendly and I agree with you about me needing to be respectful and tolerant of others' beliefs too (which I am) and learn some things about Muslim culture. I know some things about it cos of hubby but yes I agree with what you said.
I LIKE meeting people from around the world and from different walks of life and I look forward to that! I just want us to make some friends too who can accept that he is Muslim for e.g. and can accept I'm not.
I'm not wanting to start debates, no! Thanks!
