He may resign with the Rangers or he may head to the Astros. There was a story about Gagne in the Yahoo baseball section about a week ago. I posted a link to the atricle below.

To the guy below me:

Eric Gagne is not a Texas guy, he was born in Montreal,Quebec. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Gagne
Gagné, from a French Canadian family, grew up in the small town of Mascouche, near Montreal, Quebec. As a boy, he played baseball and ice hockey at Montreal's Polyvalente Edouard Montpetit High School. His Little League teams were coached by his father, Richard. He eventually became a star with Canada's Junior World Championship teams. Gagné graduated from Polyvalente Edouard Montpetit High School in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the same high school that Russell Martin attended.

I'm from Houston and trust me you aren't a Texan unless you were born here.

He'll probably sign a league minimum deal for some 60 win team from last year.

Who cares. He's not the same Gagne as we all saw in LA.

I'm also from Houston and the Chronicle said he might come here to play for the Astros or sign with the Rangers again. We just got rid of one unstable Closer here in Houston, we don't need another. I hope he signs with the Rangers because don't want him here in Houston.

I do know that The Detroit Tigers were (at one time) interested in picking him up. But since we have re-signed T. Jones we are no longer interested.

I agree with Pundit 100% $C-Notes$ (er, legends never die) needs a clue.

He was last seen at the entrance to the Shaw's Supermarket in Randolph, Massachusetts holding a hand lettered cardboard sign "Will close for food." No one was giving him any quarters. You guys can have him.

He's going to Houston. That's almost a 100% pure bet if there ever was one in this offseason. (or for sports in this matter) He needs a home and they need a closer. He's also a Texas guy and will be cheered there always. The NL is weaker and can enhance his stats for awhile. PERFECT FIT.

Edit: Pundit.. that explains why you know so little about baseball. Thanks for informing me... I was wondering why nothing you said was ever right.
