It really depends on my mood, but overall I like a movie that allows me to escape from the troubles of life and have an enjoyable couple of hours.

Romantic, comedy, drama, thriller and a little bit of horror but not too much. I get scared easily.

I like the classics in glorious black and white. My favorite movie of all time is "Only Angels Have Wings" with Cary Grant and Jean Arthur. I also like science fiction, mystery thrillers, and large scale historical epics.

Well, I like ALL movies. The ones I favor most would have to be the big production musicals of the 40's, and even more specific, the ones choreographed by Busby Berkeley. OK, so the storylines were pretty cheesy, but what else is fantasy for? The ones I favor least are the slasher flicks.

Mostly sci-fi but as long as a movie has a good plot and is well made - I will enjoy it.
Great action and great special effects DOES NOT make a good movie. "Fantastic 4: The rise of the naked dude on a surfboard" was a case in point. I thought it could have been WAY~~~ better.
