Going to a community college then a university?
Do you have to take the SAT/ACT first to get in after community college?
Any other tips in High school (If you do) for example writing a paper?
Thank you

This is a low-cost way of doing college, and works well for many people, but not for everyone. You don't usually need to take any of the tests in order to go to a community college, and if you transfer to a four-year program, they will take your college grades, not anything you did in high school, into consideration.

The biggest difference between the two is when it comes to jobs and earning. A four year degree will really put you ahead of the game, even with a lower-than-average GPA you can do a hell lot with a university degree when it comes to getting a job. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about community colleges. Also in terms of jobs, you can probably land a nice, entry level job with a community college degree, only an university degree with help you advance all the way up the organization. How many top level executives have you seen who are from community colleges? Moreover, entry level job offers will have a lower salary range for community college students.

Good luck!

I would do that, go to a community college first then a university if you're concerned with saving money. Gosh I wish I'd done that, the whole "getting the freshman college experience" wasn't worth it, I could have made friends at my college coming in as a sophmore or junior just as well and I'm not even much of a social butterfly, lol
