Gee whiz, you provided the best environment for them, and now you want them dead? They're just breaking down the food. They aren't horrible. It's not like they are in your house. I had this problem too. It's time to spread the compost around your yard (far from your doors to your house) and start over in the compost bin The maggots will disappear. Make sure you are mixing the right proportion of vegetable scraps and lawn clippings and are turning the compost regularly. Google "compost maintenance" and learn from those more learned in this topic than me. Good luck.

Big maggots in your compost? They're soldier fly larvae
Excerpt below:
discourage these flies by putting window screen over any holes in the bin and gluing it down with a waterproof caulking (like an exterior household caulk) on the inside of the bin to help exclude the flies in their egg laying stage.

The link above is quite interesting and will help you to understand the process and why you have them.
