what is the likely hood that it will get caught?
My friends want to do this and I think its a very bad idea.

yes its a very bad idea, its a felony. You will get caught eventually. Plus, if you give them your name and social, then they go out and get in trouble, it goes on your record, not theirs. Are they illegals or just retarded?

Permanent criminal record. You think no one has ever thought of this before? The first thing they do is confiscate your license, so you would have to get a new one. Also, they don't know the minor's name for sure, but they know the name on the license, so you're easy to find.

It's call contributing to the delinquency of a minior. Get thrown in jail and don't pass GO. Not to mention a stiff fine.

This applys to most states.
