I have bad credit, I was approved for Wamu checking, Now I want Charles Schwab Checking, CAn Schwab deny me?

Can they (Schwab) Deny my request to open up a Checking account because of my low credit score etc???

They could I guess but I don't think they look at credit scores. I opened one a few months ago and didn't hear about them checking credit.
What they did do was cancel my checking account on my Schwab one account so they claim I can use the new account to get a margin loan. They didn't tell me my Schwab one checks weren't working so I deposited on in another account and it bounced.
