Education, background & IQ everythings has an important role for making the one successful, But I rate personal skills on the top. As if the personal has the right kind of skill-set than no age, no time is a boundary to his ride. One can expoit ven circumstances the best, if carries the right kind of skill-set....

Yes, i think so.... I have seen it way too much. People who didn't really finish school even, or have a lower IQ, are more successful than their more educated counterparts. Mainly because they're more 'people persons' and circumstances have helped them greatly.
Of course, it's not the rule, but they do play a major part in it.

It certainly is true ! ABSOLUTELY NO doubt about that !Particularly in the present day world with many unconventional and unscrupulous opportunities opening up, education and conventional background are proving to be disadvantagious!!
