There will be some who will disagree, but I do not think IMUS is a top retirement place. There would be at least 100 other places better than Imus for retirees.

I suggest Tagaytay city is a nice place to retire that is my opinion and imus is not a city maybe you are referring to cavite city not imus and trece martires is also a city & tagaytay all 3 are the city of cavite

imus is part of cavite, one of the provinces in southern luzon ( the philippines having 3 main divisions? sorry don't know the proper term, them being luzon, visayas, mindanao ) it is an old town, maybe 30 minutes drive from manila, extremely heavy traffic during the week. there are many historical spots, monuments. but i'm not sure about the sights.
the others are right, try tagaytay city. if you are interested in that portion of the country.
