Does This Statistic Seem A Little Low To Anyone?

In one of my psychology classes today, it was mentioned that 20% of guys say they masturbate at least once a month (from the textbook, so it is a real statistic). That means 80% of guys say they do that fewer than 12 times a year. Does that sound not right to anyone else? Maybe a little under reporting going on?

Most studies I've read put the number of men who admit to that closer to 80 or even 90 percent. I don't know what kind of people your textbook polled (very conservative Christians perhaps?) but it doesn't represent the general male populus. You can rest assured that nearly every man who can masturbate, does masturbate, whether they admit it or not. Besides, 75% of what is in psychology textbooks is crap. You can't believe that everything in there is correct or backed up by scientific evidence. The authors can sometimes be biased.

maybe they should start watching each house evernite to see how many arent and how many do that ...i mean they should a invent a man's masturbating machine for detecting in the entire world ...meaning everycountry/city should have that ....for detecting whose on tonite or mornings... lol
