A poo flinging, sword weilding, car driving monkey.

The conditions under which monkeys are acquired from the wild, the conditions under which they are kept, their total unsuitability for a life of confinement, and the diseases they can contract and spread to humans all lead me to the decision never to have a pet monkey. That, in addition to the fact that I have no desire to have the equivalent of a 3 year old baby in diapers throwing temper tantrums, hitting, biting, flinging excretement and ocupying my every minute 24/7 for the next 25-50 years.

Because they can be quite dangerous. Even ones raised as a baby and loving for years can turn on their owners suddenly and without warning. Even monkeys with removed teeth cause a lot of injury.

Plus, yeh, they swear poo everywhere when they are not happy.

Good thing I'm not a guy. :)

Well, I am not a guy so that is okay then if I say no. The main reason for saying no is that i live in Australia and it is illegal to own a monkey here.

I don't want a pet that could, potentially, be smarter than me. Pretty soon he'd take my friends, my job, my car.......lol Actually, monkeys can be pretty aggressive and demanding, I already have kids-that's enough for me.
