It's a combination of things, for me. My dad died just before Christmas which was a holiday he loved so much so it is sad to miss him. Being divorced, the holiday gets split and it is hard on my kids who enjoy the traditions we have here at home. I encourage them to make special memories with their dad but it seems he has lost the magic that comes with the season- or his girlfriend has killed it? Yikes, kinda mean, sorry. The commercialism is hard to combat, and joy of giving gets somehow lost in the grand scheme of things.

For me they hit after xmas. I spend the whole month baking and shopping and getting everything all perfect for it to be over in one morning. Then after it's over I kinda feel lost and don't know what too do.....Then I think to much and end up depressed for a few days.
