Soundgarden. Great guitars and vocals. Although sometimes Kim Thayil's solos don't go well along with the riffs or he just doesn't play them right... Oh well. They're still better than Disturbed and my second favorite grunge band.

Soundgarden. Soundgarden have been around for a long, long time....when in doubt, always pick the older band. They've paid their dues.

I think that you need to make that decision on your own after you've listened to both bands. Personally, I like Disturbed better because their songs are hardcore (liberate rocks). Soundgarden's song, "black hole sun" is pretty good, too. I guess it depends on what type of music you like best.
