I was over in 'Buying and Selling' a few minutes ago to see if my question got any more answers, and I sorta fell to random browsing...and what to I see? Someone named railbird with the SAME avatar! Same face, same glasses, same stupid hair, except his is wearing some kind of suit or sport jacket.
Yeah, it's kinda freaky!

It gets even freakier when they also have the same name. That has been my main reason for changing the appearance of my avatar, even going so far as to turn it completely upside down, but maybe if you made your's more original by adding a background of giving yourself a different expression you would be less likely to find scary clones all over yahoo answers.

I would immediately assume that this person is a complete stranger, and has never seen my avatar before.
Of course, there are so many on Yahoo!, they should at least come up with more outfit and accessory options.
