kk i love MAKE UP i am very passionate about it! i love to put it on people and like put it on myself of course!!!!!! and I am interested in the skin like i like to wonder how the skin works and all like dermatology so what should i do at this age like a head start on my beauty and dermatology career like is there a camp or a school where kids my age can get a head start?????????? what should i do to get my career started by the age of 14!!

Of course continue to do make up your friends and try different things on yourself. Get magazines and learn their tips for different applications and try to mimic their looks, even the crazy ones.
There are books on skin and skin care. Read! Study!
Explore your career options. There are professional make up artists. They range from people who do makeup for TV, movies, etc to getting ready for events.
There are cosmotologists, who do hair, make up, manicures, etc.
You need to decide what you want to do and go from there. But you are still young. The fact that you are thinking ahead is a very good thing. Any knowledge you can gain will help you down the road.

No it's not. It is all about marketing. You need to build your own audience on the Internet. Internet allows you to reach millions of households a day as well as international listeners. Record a some music and make your own website also get Myspace, Facebook, YouTube (make your own music video), and then link all the pages together. Labels look at how many hits you get on your website. That's how Tequila from shot of love was discovered and Soldier Boy--not that I'm fans. However, if you have talent that will make it even better.

You're smart to be thinking ahead! You can never start to early. If you want to be a makeup artist, continue practicing on friends, etc., and be sure to take photos of your work. Building up a portfolio to show off your talent is how you'll be able to get work in the future. Also, look into a local cosmotology school.

Do you know of any local theaters? Or for your school or something...
Do make up for plays and such.
I know a girl who did that, and now she's studying at Aveda.
Also, she just did her friends hair and make up for dances and such.
And collected a portfolio of her best work.
I know this isn't much help, but I tried...
