“People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.” - Rogers Hornsby
I talk about baseball, moan over the Eagles, hope for a Flyers turnaround and count the days until Spring Training - waiting for "Next Year" to begin.

This is a good question, I always find other sports to pay attention to, once the baseball season is over, through sometimes it might seem like it goes by fast. And plus there are a bunch of movies for me to watch as well, and you can always watch baseball movies even when the season is over, why put them away and only watch when the baseball season is in season? There are always sports on, ad in a lot of cities, just because a sport ends in a city, there migth not be any off season for sports, and Chicago is one of them. New York will be another one, I would say major towns and states.

I miss watching the red sox, but I've been watching some of the NFL games. Plus now that baseball season is over I realized just how much I really need to focus on school so I haven't had much time for doing anything else since the season ended.

In late October I went over to see some games in the Arizona Fall League. Early November was the trip to Hawaii for some Winter League games. Next March I'll head over to Arizona again to see some spring training "tune ups".

I play baseball mogul more often, read the hot stove rumors, think up some of my own senerios that could work. I also put some time in with the fantasy leagues that I run and my teams in my leagues. I also watch the occasional football game.

I try to keep up with the hot stove.. trades, free agent signings etc... check out various baseball websites : mlbtraderumors.com, mlb.com, foxsports.com, mlbcontracts.blogspot.com, baseballamerica.com and many more... and ill be attending the mlb winter meetings next week, so that will be my baseball fix for a while. might possibly go to spring training but we'll see.

I watch the NFL and NBA. I also watch college basketball, college football, boxing and MMA. I am never bored with sports.
I do always look forward to baseball season the most though and am sad when it is gone.

I'm a freelance sports writer so I try to stay on top of the sports world all year long. Since my favorite sport is baseball, I'm constantly staying on top of that through the media and various connections I have in the baseball world such as a few scouts and a couple of professional sports writers.
