I own a 2002 Honda Civic Sedan DX, and I gotta admit, although its the most basic of cars, its fun to drive, and somewhat cheap. Every time I fill the tank, it costs me $40$-50 CAN, and since I drive the car a lot I fill it up 2-3 times a month. I take the car in every 3 months for service, each time paying roughly $100 (because every odd service is an expensive major one and the rest are just oil change), Therefore I would say that you would be looking at around $150-200 a month to maintain the car. If your question was regarding leasing or financing, no idea how much you would have to pay.

I do not now own a Honda Civic. I had a Civic over 15 years ago. But I once drove a friend's Civic and I must say Honda continues to make good cars.
