Two different generations, its not fair to compare. The Rock took Hulk Hogans talent and elevated to new hights. Like I said, you just cant compare the two. I agree with you that the Rock is a more talented wrestler and more entertaining on the mic but he wouldnt be where he is today if it wasnt for Hulk Hogan. Hulk Hogan did in his generation what the Rock did in his. In reality they are both equals.

I love the Rock in and out of the ring but as far as who did the most for wrestling, it is Hogan hands down. It was he and Vince who brought wrestling out of the darkness and into everyones home. No others can lay claim to that, he broke down the barrier and made wrestling a household phenomenon. Wrestling is as popular and mainstream as it is today because of Hulk Hogan

Hogan did more for the business than The Rock I think. The Rock was a better entertainer though.

I like the Rock better, but if Hogan didn't do what he did in his generation, the Rock wouldn't have done what he did in his.

Hulk Hogan made the business what it is today. Granted he wasn't a great wrestler, but he got the crowd pumped and turned the WWE from plain wrestling to sports entertainment. The Rock carried the torch and elevated the WWE even higher.
