Question should read as:-
(-3/5) x = - 15
(3/5) x = 15
3x = 75
x = 25

You divide both sides by -3/5. This is the same as multiplying by the reciprocal - so multiply both sides by -5/3
-3/5x = -15
-5/3 * -3/5x = -15 * -5/3
x =25

x=25

-3/5x=-15

Divide both sides by -3/5 to get the variable on its own.

x=-15/(-3/5)

Alternatively, if you are lazy/don't have an algebra calculator handly, you can multiply everything by the LCD and then divide from there.

-225/-9

Both methods result in:

x=25

It depends on where the parenthesis are
If it's -3/(5x) = -15
then you multiply both sides by 5x
then you get -3 = -75x
then you divide both sides by -75
and x = 1/25 or 0.04
OR
If it's (-3/5)x = -15
then you divide both sides by -3/5
and x = 25

-3/5x=-15
Crossing:
-3x = -15 * 5
x = -75 : -3
x = 25
Solution: {x belongs to R| x = 25}
