Is it the capiz type from Pampanga? Or the ones they make in Las Pinas?

'Got 2 large, 2 medium and 2 small lanterns. And yes they are the Capiz type from Pampanga.

I'm from Wash. DC area and most of my neighbors always asked me where did I get those since they have never seen anything like it before.. ;)

There's nobody selling lantern here in Calgary so I made my own (as I used to do when I was growing up in the Philippines). I improvised by using barbecue sticks I bought from an Asian supermarket. Tied them with dental floss. I was lucky to find something similar to "papel de hapon" to cover it and presto - we have a lantern (it's as big as the Pampanga capiz). I just want my child to see a lantern and for me to feel the spirit of Christmas in the Philippines.

it's just a simple 'parol'... capiz-made is too expensive...
