I settled with a landlord for $350 (the security deposit). The date he agreed to pay it is january 7, 2008. If he doesn't pay then, how long can the process possible take, and what may be involved?

If the person is upstanding ( what was he that caused you to take him to small claims ? ) he will pay or send payment on that date. ( hint; take the check to "his" bank to make sure it will clear ). If the person is a dick then they can drag it out. If they wanted to be a real turd, they could pay you $25.00 a month and be within the law. GOOD LUCK.

It should have been resolved before leaving court if you won you should have sign off and received it then unless a continuance was orders... at lest 5 days after judgment you should have received a check! ask the court intervene in matter...
