I want to know how much each state pays people on unemployment, what the maximum weekly benefits are for each state. I know some states pay more than others. Thanks!

There is no "one stop" site for such information that I could find. You will need to go to the Department of Labor for each state, and look for the Division of Unemployment Benefits, the information will be there, as well as the criteria for eligibility and direct contact information.

Each state should have an agency that doles out unemployment. In my state, it's called the Department of Economic Security. Run an internet search with the name of your state and something like "unemployment compensation."

You could look on the websites of the states you are interested in.

If you have been laid off in a particular state, that state's rules determine the benefits you get, not a state you move to after being laid off.
