Everyone at my school calls me a nerd and a geek and stuff. It is annoying me to heck and I can't figure out why. I am just a good student who enjoys english?! Everyone calls me a nerd especially the upperclassmen at my school. I don't dress like a nerd or act like one that often. I just get good grades. How do I tell them to leave me alone?

'Ohmygod..what the heck..' but with a little attitude. ahhah in my school nerds are poeple. in 'special edd, frizzy ugly hair,retarted clothes, thinks their the best thing in the world when someone they wanna be friends with walks on bye'

Unless you are just being legitimately heckled, being called a nerd is a sign of endearment. I find most often when I'm being sweet, smart, affectionate, etc it is that I am called a nerd. But I played pro baseball... Doesn't that make me a jock? We're all nerds at heart. I say let that inner geek out. Sing loud the lyrics to your favorite childhood tv show in public (something like...In West Philidelphia born and raised...) And since there seem to be no cool adults, we can only assume that becoming a nerd is inevitable. Go with it! And oh yea...wouldn't hurt to pick up a current magazine once and a while to see what people are wearing THIS YEAR.

Nerds make the best wives/husbands, make more money, and live longer than most other groups. Ask your parents!
I am a nerd, married to a nerd, and am much happier than at least 75% of the people who teased me in high school.

people can be very rude and negative without knowing it. people called me a nerd too just because i wear glasses and am in honors, so what? im not the only one!. if they dont leave you alone, then ignore it! they'll see that you have no response to it, and eventually stop. or just say "shut up". dont let that problem get you or your grade down. :) i've been thyere.. but im back!

they're just mad because they are busy doping it up and getting drunk knowing that with your brains you will succeed and they know 10 years from now you will have a perfect life and they will be in the middle of the streets.
ignore them, dont let high school ruin the rest of your life by trying to act cool and ignoring your grades.

ugh i hate labels!
its so sad, they're probably just jealous.
Keep getting your grades and be yourself, don't let them bother you, you're gonna grow up smart and successful while they might be cool now but if they don't do well they'll probably jus end up losers.
Sometimes it's better to be a nerd then a popular kid, don't let them get to you sweetie<333
