A little play on words here folks! This one's gotta be a winner, IF the FAA does not restrict the blimp to non populated areas for safety/terrorist concerns! I just found out about the blimp & was wondering...has any other candidate for public office ever tried a promotional blimp before? I think it would sure get attention. What really shocked me was the blimps owner is a Paul supporter & is reducing the cost of the blimp out of gratitude for representative Paul's campaign! Sounds super to me, let me know if this has ever happened before for a candidate in the US of A.

Ross, thank you for the correction, MY error! Don't worry about Adam B either, Ross. Unfortuantly I have known a couple of other National Socialists that like Adam B hate ANYTHING to do with liberty/libertarianism. Fortuantly the more "enlightened" amongst us have put these "special" folks back on the shelf where they are not a danger to mankind & to them selves. Thanks for the answer!

James Dean, This election is termed a "realignment" election. This is as big as an election gets! A realignment election will see MAJOR changes in both candidates & policies. Up for grabs this time is the same oh same oh & our demise as a nation or America going back to it's constitutional roots. There has NOT been an election this serious in nature sense the presidential election of 1968!

Auntb93, we lose Ron Paul in 08 look for serious problems with in the employment field with in 08-09, followed by an increasing collapse of small business' from 2010. This will be brought on by an increasingly growing government on ALL levels plus mass retirements on all government levels & hence forth more taxes to fund the government. Once the dollar hits the unsustainable point of diminishing returns, meaning it can't purchase enough for basic needs/survival of folks, it's then TOO LATE. Expect from that point for all hell to break lose as it's every man for himself!

Hey -- face it, blimps are cool.
The key is for Paul to get enough of a showing to negotiate with the Republican party to include fiscal conservatism in the party platform --- something that has been sadly lacking. Although he could draw the pacifist vote from the Dems, steering the party back toward the Goldwater/Reagan model would valuable for the Republicans, provided they can keep him in the camp.

Until I watched the vid ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6I5zYu541Q ), I didn't know the whole significance of this. This is great! By December 1st, and for a whole month. Yes, it will be a good year.
EDIT: djominous20, you do know that there are passengers and a pilot or two on that blimp right? Do you know what you are advocating? Did you know that you could be sent to Guantanamo, no questions asked, no jury, and no trial for that comment, if something like that happened? I'm sure you are joking and you love Ron Paul and fellow supporters, but that is not cool.

I seriously hope so. But if the Republicans are idiots enough to nominate someone else (and there seems to be some risk of that), then I certainly hope he accepts the Libertarian Party's nomination. That could mean a real ballot-box revolution!!!

Once the American public find out about Paul's regressive policies in more detail, he'll go away. He stands for a return to the robber baron days of the 1890's, a proponent of the irresponsible, barbaric libertarian ethic. There's a reason that not a single bill Paul proposed ever became law.
Edit> I'm not a Nazi, and I don't believe many of my fellow Jews subscribe to National Socialism, especially since many of us had our families nearly wiped out by them. If you think that the world will suddenly become paradise if the 14th Amendment is thrown out the window, you're living in a fantasy land. History teaches us that the states will destroy our liberties if given the chance, and the federal government protects us (when it operates correctly) from those excesses. Ron Paul isn't a savior, he's a charlatan selling the wrong solution to a gullible public.
