When I am in this frame of mind I have 2 choices- 1. I can wallow in the misery and concentrate on the negatives. It keeps me down, saps my energy, gives me body aches, upsets my stomach and makes me mean to my kids. or 2. I get out of myself- call a friend with problems and see if I can help or put on some kick *ss music and clean something.

While I get trapped in #1 occasionally, #2 is a far better choice!

I get on my bicycle and ride
I go for a hike

I, like my friend dizzkat, crank up the music. That's a cure all for most of my "blue" moods.
