I like him. He's an incredibly intelligent and charismatic man who, in my opinion, is very JFK-life in what he represents. He represents the promise of a new era in American history and I think if elected he would be a fine President. However, I'm not so sure that that's going to happen...but you never know. There's just too many Hitlery supporters and racists in this country and it casts a great deal of doubt over his electability. Here's to hoping!

I like Obama. I will vote for him. I hope he's elected president. However, I'd like to know what kind of people he will select to be his Cabinet members. That also well tell what direction the country will go. I think that's where Bush went wrong and that's a lot of the reason we're where we are now. It isn't just 9/11 and Katrina. It's the decisions that were made after the disasters took place.

I think Hillery will give us more of the same and worse.

The Republican candidates are all over the map. I don't know who would be the better of the lot, but I'm certainly against Rudy. Running a city is a lot different than being President of the United States and he has just as much baggage as Hillery. That would be a really NASTY fight.

Yet it's amazing how YOU have to point out the obvious. Why couldn't you just ask, "What do you think of Obama?"...

Either way I think he is arrogant and that is not a trait associated w/ the color of someone's skin but is associated w/ the content of his character. And for the loon that says Obama is 'like' JFK~I want to kick you. President Kennedy is leagues beyond Obama.

You, Me and Martin Luther King Jr., I don't know much about Obama, I'd Rather not see a Clinton, because I see a troubling trend with Too many Bush's and Clinton's in too rapid of secession, I think dynastic politics is poor choice for this country. But then these days poor choices seem to be our way. Experience is the right wing talking point for use with the Obama crowd, However Dick Cheney has lots of experience and he has used it to make himself rich and to corrupt the system, experience without character or integrity is worse then no experience

What if we use your request and judge people only by the content their character and not by the color of their skin ? Where there is reprobate character in a person , there will be a need to identify that person . So what you should be saying is that reprobate character comes in all colors`, therefore indentifing one who has reprobate character requires that you associate the character accordingly , no matter what the color . Basically ; If the shoe fits , wear it !!

Obama's color has nothing to do with my choice. I am white and I couldn't be prouder to have a woman and a black to be contending to be our next president. I also am not prejudiced against some of the jackasses that have brayed from that pulpit, although I'm close in the present case.

Totally agreed. My thoughts on Obama... well, I'm not a Democrat, but of all of the Democratic candidates, I like him the best. I'm not saying he's my ideal choice for President, but I would vote for him depending on who he was up against. He's not way out there like some of the candidates.

That is my philosophy in life.

Obama seems to be a good person. It is much too early in his political career to consider him as a Presidential Candidate. He needs much more experience. I do not think he will win his party's nomination this time but I would not be surprised to see him win the candidacy in the future if he plays his cards right.

First I really respect your conviction to character, I too believe the same. I lean to the right and yet I want a candidate who fits closest to the middle, John McCain. All the others pander to much to their base for me, I would like to see our government work harder on accomplishment and cooperation rather than playing King of the Hill.

Obama is half black and half white.Anyone that calls him one or the other is misinformed.I believe he is a good man who has more qualities to run this country than Hillary, but he still doesn't have enough experience to be our leader yet.Maybe next time.

The only one bringing up color here is you. Are you having trouble getting past the fact the man is black?
