Since oxygen is produced during photosynthesis, which uses light, I would expect more oxygen to be produced on a sunny day.

There would be more oxygen produced on a sunny day because you need sunlight for photosynthesis. Also oxygen is produced during photosynthesis. So that's why there would be more oxygen on a sunny day and not a cloudy day.

no because plants need sunlight to carry out photosynthesis so a warm sunny day gives more oxygen.
