Lot of good answers here for the question. What about Sen. "Soon to be lobbyist" Trent Lott?

I dont think conservatives are that way, if so then both parties are in trouble as both have conservatives, then you have the left and right wing which are small vocal insane elements, hands down.

Possibily a WWF match with radical right and left, wonder who would win?

I dislike the majority of conservatives, because they can never say anything nice about the other side, their language is too "Sandboxish." If not for the huge amount of money they can connive from innocent people, there were hardly be any Conservatives at all in Congress. They even lie and cheat at any level of government. As far as not needing money from people the way Republican do, I praise Lawton Chiles as one of the best senators that Florida has ever had to offer, And even Bush's brother Jeb couldn't beat him.

Edit: Jeb couldn't beat Lawton for Governor for Florida

When I think of the word "conservative" I usually picture a lower intelligence white person living in the bible-belt who attends an evangelical Christian church. They also tend to be more racist and less tolerant of others. They are less openminded, and can only view the world through their own eyes.

When it comes to big business owners, those conservatives care most about money and themselves, and don't have a problem hurting society or the environment for personal gain.

Think George Bush.

I realize not all conservatives fit this stereotype, and not all of these items are necessarily bad. None-the-less, put them all together, and that's what my mental picture of a conservative is.

Hey, you asked.

Ultra-conservative, just like ultra liberal, are folks that are hard to contend with. No position is absolutely right, or absolutely wrong, unless you're talking to either of the ultras.

I don't like some because they represent the majority of the people in the U.S., but they don't speak out and defend the values of this nation.

Smugness, because they consider themselves among the elite who have assets and resources they prefer to keep, in their sprint to be richer than their competitors and associates.
