What is a two year contract for a cell phone ..

will someone explain to me ..

i know stupid question but what do you do to get tht 2yr contract?

u get a plan... meaning how many min. u can use, a phone, depends what u want. most free phones, are basic and pretty shitty. plans are an amount of minutes, with things u can add lyk txting, data, etc. if u want a more advanced phone, u hav to pay xtra.

Most cell phone providers, offer a free or discounted phone if you sign a Two year contract. That means if you get a $30 a month plan you pay $30 every month for 24 months ($720).

when you go to the phone store and tell them you want a phone you have to agree to keep the phone for a full 2 years and make your monthly payments. You cannot turn it back in early with out paying a ridiculously large fine.
