What is the attenuation rate of radio waves in a vacuum (space)?

Only the inverse square law. That is not really attenuation so much as the same amount of energy spreading out to cover ever larger areas of space as it moves away from the source. Just like light does.

not too bad... some resonance due to dust and noise, but the microwave frequencies are loud and clear.
