When somebody says "last days," that means they expect things to be over within a few DAYS, weeks or, at most, months. When it doesn't happen in that time, it means they were wrong. Now, let's say you also think the world is a total of 6,000 years old. That would mean it has existed half again as long as when your traditions started ranting about "last days." Obviously, it was not the "last days," so why don't you give it up, get real, and pay attention to the life you're living now so that you might be decent to those around you?

Don't you think that it is ridiculous to ask an R&P question in politics?

Today, we are living in the "church age" which is the great commission to go out to all the nations and preach the Gospel. Once that has been done, we will enter into the "last days." The last days refers to the 7 year tribulation period of the earth after the rapture of the Church or true believers. Once the true believer's in Christ have been "raptured", there will be a 7 year period of apostasy when the remaining churches or religions will have a chance to correct their errors and accept Jesus or fall away even further. Satan will attempt to deceive and corrupt the churches even further from within by causing un-Biblical doctrines to be allowed or taught which we already see in part today. Apostasy will rise further and further. Halfway through this period, the Anti-Christ will appear and set himself up in Jerusalem as God on earth only to face the final battle of Armageddon and the final judgment of God.

Think about this Gertrude s,If you live your life according to the bible and die to find out it was wrong,,,at least you have lived a good life.
BUT,,,If you lived your life doing whatever you want and to die and find out the bible was right,,,what defense would you have when you stand in front of the final judge? Will you say,,,oh,but I was led the wrong way? Will you say,,,science made Devinne creation look ridiculous?
The truth is,we do not know Gods mind or the time he works in.If I were you and I'm glad I'm not I would concern myself more about finding God than finding the ridiculous answer to the last days. The best answer is,,,Get right with God and rejoice when the last days arrive.

I'm presuming that you are referring to 2 Tim 3:1-5 that says, "But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God . . . " These "last days" started in 1914 with World War 1. If you check this date in an encyclopedia you will find the whole world has changed since that time. Certainly the prophecy in 2 Timothy has been fulfilled in every part of the world and helps confirm that we are indeed in the last days of a crumbling world. God promises to intervene in men's affairs and set matters straight at Daniel 2:44. Wouldn't you like to have someone make things better?
Note: The term "day" simply means a period of time, for example, your grandmothers day.

with the complete fantasy for public policy that liberal extremists are attempting to install, absolutely not. it is if anything ahead of schedule. some of the ideas that pass for logic here in congress, from the pelosi/reid regime can only lead to the loss of self reliance and inventiveness through the confiscatory taxation and failed welfare schemes of today. i believe totally the race toward liberal socialism is the root cause and makes the statement of the last days accurate and chilling.
