I love and adore it. I'm actually considering naming my daughter that. Possibly as a nickname for September. I know that sounds quite weird, but I know a girl named September and the name suits her. Its unique but in a cool way and she quite likes.

I think it's cute! Much better than a similar sounding cousin in Amber. Ember could also use the nicknames Emmy or Em, if your boyfriend is worried about her having a totally weird name lol. Is her middle name going to be Phoenix or something? lol.

I like it, it stands out. Ember means spark, burning low. You can always use it as a middle name if you can't convice your boyfriend that the name is cool. :)

I had a little girl in my preschool class named Emberlyn. I have never heard of it before or since, but it kind of grew on me.
