I was on aim talking to someone and someone else messaged me and said Goodbye and started saying how I'm a good person and how I'll find a great guy, like some final goodbye - I'm afraid he is going to commit suicide and hge won't answer me, what do I do, pleaseI'm frightened...

do you know how old this person is? Do they live alone? How much do you know about them? Whatever you do, try to maintain contact with them, don't give up. If you know of a local suicice hotline or mental health hotline please put the number out there. they may not be answering but they may be listening. Keep trying and don't give up. This could be serious or this could be a cry for help. Either way it's serious.

It may be he is being histrionic to affect you and gain sympathy, which he has done successfully. If he never mentioned suicide I wouldn't jump to the conclusion he was contemplating suicide. He may just be a disgruntled suitor.
Best thing to do is wait and see. Suicides seldom act without some hint of their intent in order to gain sympathy.

I agree that if you can't go check on him, call someone else and have them check on him. If you can't get a hold of any of his family members for whatever reason, then call 911 and have them go over there. It is worth a call just to be safe.

Like everyone else is saying call the cops and fast but STALL AS LONG AS YOU CAN SO THE COPS CAN GET THERE IN TIME.

if you are near and can get to him ,go yourself ...if not call one of his close friends or anyone who is close to him, .....if it was me i would try to reach him anyway i can...
