I'm very happy that Julianne and Helio won. They were always the most fun to watch, and he was the only celeb who didn't sass back at the judges when they would give him suggestions on how to improve all season long.
Let's hear it for the gentlemanly dancer with the 1000 watt smile! He needs to do a "Got Milk" ad now :)

I was so happy I let out a bit of a cheer myself. When the season first started, after the first couple of shows I answered a question here that I thought based on what I had seen so far Helio would win. They made such a cute couple I thought. Mel was good too but I thought she started to get a little bit full of herself and from the look on her face last night I think she thought she had it in the bag.

Well I thought that Helio and Julianne had equal talent with Mel and Maksim (sp?) so I wasn't on pins and needles with either of them. I was just hoping and praying that Marie's legions of fans would not vote her in as the winner. She should never gone as far as she did in the competition -- just not as talented as many of the others voted off sooner.
All in all, I SO enjoyed the season though and am happy for Helio and Julianne. He is such a cutie patootie!

Woo! Im so excited that they won! I loved Mel and Max too, but Helio was favorate!! I would rather one of them win then I did Marie... Yay Helio!

yeeeeeessss!! OMFG I'm so happy!!! SOOOOOO HAPPY, you have no idea! i wish i could party with them, I'm so in love with Helio & Julianne, they are so cute together and great dance partners. Helio is the real winner, no one in that show deserved more than him!! I'm going out to celebrate hahahaha!

Yes I am very happy. In my opinion, Mel had a huge advantage being a Spice Girl. I also thought she was a bit obnoxious. Helio had never danced before and he had both personality and good dancing. It was a good season.

I thought that both he and Mel were good. Marie was not very good and should have been eliminated weeks ago. I thought Mel would win but Helio was very good!

omg yes!!!!!!! I was screaming sooo loud, I'm sure everyone on my floor heard me (I'm at college)! He definitely deserves it...not having an dancing experience at all!...he was great!!! I tip my hat to Mel too...she was amazing!
