I wanted to travel the world. Each of my brothers did this before they went on to college. Unfortunately, life and family obligations got in the way when I was finally old enough to consider this for myself.

Even though we end up sleeping in the bed that we have made for ourselves we can always make the best of it. The only person who can make the changes in your life are you. The sooner you understand and accept this fact the sooner your life is going to improve for you. Perhaps you need to surround yourself with a new group of people and then listen to yourself. Are you the kind of person with the attitude that you would want to spend a lot of time with? If you realize that you are not then change your attitude and outlook on life. Maybe if you read an old book that I have always kept in easy reach, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale's , The Power of Positive Thinking ", you might have lived a very different life had you read and accepted what Dr. Peale had to offer. Give it a try. The only thing you have to lose by doing so is misery.

It's hard to pick just one. So I'll go with the one thing that has
been the hardest to reach. And that is I've always wanted to
take a ride on a authentic paddle wheeler that they still do
cruises with on the Mississippi River.
I've wanted to see if there are any southen plantations
along the river to get some pictures of them in all their glory.
I've always wanted to tour some also. But that takes good
walking legs, which I don't have anymore.

when younger we had very little money and 3 kids, we also had my college tuition and that meant I couldn't work cause I was full time. We always wanted to take a cruise for about 7 to 10 days to places we had never been. The kids are now parents and we could kind the money but now we don't have our health,so we'll never get to go on the 1 thing I always wanted.

So many things. Having become a mom at 17 I missed so much. Proms and dances and hanging out with friends. But it has not been that bad and got some great kids out of the deal and now the grandkids make life worthwhile

I wish I could have gone on vacations! There just was not $ available back then to vacation. Books were my vacations!

I wish I could have managed to get a better education!

I wish I could have had a family when I was growing up!

I wish I could have had better choices available to me!

I guess my lamp must give 4 wishes...
