When I was in trade school, I had to make one for my culinary class. My sister helped me decorate it. The very next year, I made another one because my brother decided to buy me a gingerbread house making kit. My sister helped me decorate that one too.

It wasn't so much a gingerbread 'house' as a gingerbread 'mansion gone through an earthquake, then hit by a hurricane'
But it definitely tasted good!

no everytime i try it doesnt last a day haha. Usually by the time i start making it there is nothing to make it with cause me nd my friends eat it. But ya it never worked for me. Hope i helped!

I made a huge one for Sprachfest with some friends. We ate some of the candy but hte actual gingerbread was TERRIBLE because we made it for building and not eating... Ewww... ;P

I made a small one in first grade..
im making on this year tho :D
im not a big ginger bread eater..but im sure ill eat a crap load of the candy..

not that i can remember, but i was looking at the kits to make them the other day and was thinking about getting one this year and letting the kids all help put it together.

Yes, every year in my Latin class we make gingerbread 'Forums'...we never get one built, we eat it all in construction!
