I was at a funeral and the church bells rang 7 times and the time was 10.30 so Im wondering what that means and is there any other bell counts that mean something?

What a great question! I like it... a star on it. I don't know much about church bells, but have the feeling that for them to ring seven times at a funeral is marking the seven days of creation, the seventh being the one on which God rested... so it's showing that the person who is being memorialized is now at rest.

That is what the seven bells means as I recall.

They ring any number of times when it is time for church to start, I remember that too-- they rang often and with urgency to get us all on the go.

I'm sorry but I can't recall any more than that. Hope you get a really good and researched answer here soon!
