okay a few weeks ago my car ran hot and i stop driving it. i got 2 mechanics to look at my engine and water was coming out of it they said it was the head gasket. but then my car wouldnt start either. then the next day it would start but i never drove since it over heated so once the mechanic replace the head and put a new head gasket init will the car still start? in other words does a bad head gasket stop a car from starting or not????

A bad head gasket can cause the car not to start! The fact that it started later means that the plugs dried out, not that the head gasket is not the problem!

if the spark plugs are soaked with coolant, then the vehicle will not start.
