Why? so leafs fans have to go an extra 15 minutes of shame?
"There goes McCabe, skating, NO, Dragging himself on the ice, oh now, he slips it in his own net over a sleeping Toskala"

An interesting question, but I think the length of the game is fine.
To the guy who commented rather injudiciously about the Red Wings having trouble with the Black Haws this year - first of all, he is right. The Hawks are a fast team, and right now that is the Wings weakness. However, since the Wings have the most points in the NHL and there are plenty of opportunities to even things up with the Hawks this year, we'll still sleep well in Detroit.

Do you want to see the first 0-82-0 team in the NHL because the leafs would be that team with that record if they played 75 mins of hockey a game. It is bad enough that the leafs can't play 60 mins so what would 75 minutes do to them?

Bad idea. 60 minutes is fine. That's the way it has been and should remain that way. 15 more minutes would increase the risk of injury to the players, and the embarassment to some teams out there.

Definitely not.
Chicago has embarrassed Detroit enough in 60 minutes this year.....if the games were 75 minutes long, Ilitch would be folding up tent and moving the Wings to Shreveport

BAD. Games are fast and high paced, and you see teams burnout by the third, sometimes sooner. I say make the nets larger, decrease the size of the goalie pads, maybe, and just maybe, get rid of offsides. I hate boring games. I have been a fan since the 80's and the Northstars, and I dont miss boring games.

Time of regulation is just fine. If you want more, go tell Gary Bettman to promote 20 minute long overtimes for the regular season.

How do you make the game better? By leaving it alone. The game is fine how it is
