I have seen in many movies that the Pyramid of Giza was built by hundreds of thousands of slaves, but I just do not believe that.

Anyone know?

Absolutely not.
The pyramids were built by skilled craftsmen and architects who had a wealth of knowledge which we are still trying to understand.
The heavy labor was supplied by thousands of Egyptian agricultural laborers who were unemployed for the four months that the Nile flooded every year.
To acquire and feed that many slave laborers every year would have been impossible for the Egyptian economy
In the vicinity of the pyramids villages have been excavated where the builders would have lived

Well, when Moses was born God knew that he was going to be a leader . In those times the Israelites were the slaves of Egypt and those were the people who built the pyramids. Moses lead them out of Egypt with God's help. If you are a Christian you should know that because it says it in the Bible.

the pyramids in Egypt were built by slaves and peasants. the slaves didn't need to be paid or fed well because, at the time they were disposable. there is a time of year in Egypt when the Nile floods, covering the farming land (which was all on the banks of the Nile), the farmers had no source of income at this time so they too worked on the construction.

Right. The head cheeze is going on to the afterlife. He will smile favorably on all those that aid in the construction of his final resting place. It has been found that the workers were fed well as they committed themselves to serve their pharoh in hopes of afterlife benefits.
You know the saying.....easier to get them to work with positive reinforcement than the whip. Doubtful if many slaves from wars were allowed to work on the tombs when the citizens wanted the benefits.

Perhaps a mixture of slaves doing all the heavy labouring tasks and free workers as skilled workers and supervisors.

I've yet to see any other way how the Egyptians could of paid a labor force large enough, or work them so hard for them to not be slaves.

I heard it was built by the peasants of Egypt who had nothing to do at that time of year anyway.
